Oh that’s so great! I love the buttons on the back and the grapevines.

    • Mo Crow says:

(((Dana))) it was so hard to cut the sleeve up, I tried to stitch feathery wings out of the old wedding dress cloth but it ended up looking too chocolate box Valentine’s Day, the zipper gave it the edge and the grape vine tendrils brought it to life!

  2. I love how you’ve used the buttons as well . . .and the incorporation of the zip is perfect.

  3. Marti says:

The tendrils of love, twined around a heart and isn’t that how it is… we send out our hopes, our feelings, our wishes, our desires, our dreams, wrapping them around what is possible, flowing from our individual hearts and when it is right, Love surrounds and beats a universal rhythm as it does in this movingly created talisman, from the deepest first cut. Mo, you have gotten to the heart of the matter so beautifully.

(((Fiona))) it reminds me of a monstrance that I saw at the Bishop’s Palace in Galveston last century or those strange holy cards with the glowing open hearts (I was a Catholic til I was 14 and left the church) these days I believe in love…
