“Out of the Blue” a book collaboration with Trace Willans and Mo Orkiszewski 2014-2015
In September of 2014 I bought Trace Willans beautiful ‘Paint Rag Book 1’ made out of gessoed paint rags, indigo and wax. In November I renamed it ‘Out of the Blue’ (a place to keep all those pieces of dreams that come from Out of the Blue) added some stitching & feathers to the covers and started filling the pages with tiny treasures- embroideries, weaving, sketches, paintings, leaves, feathers, tendrils, stones, bones and words remembered from dreams.
