Braille for the Soul 2017-2018
Braille for the Soul investigates in stitch and cloth what is read through the haptic* sensibilities. Sewn and knotted, beaded and feathered, these vessels, pennants, and talismans are bound with love for our beautiful broken world mending our ways stitch by stitch, learning to touch again, the world and each other, connecting our hearts.
Gathering through the web are a community of stitchers like me, deep listening women and two good men from all around the world making strong threads singing
‘I dream of a world where love is the answer”
