  1. Marti says:

Fiona’s pennant is elegant in its simplicity, powerful in its message for LOVE is what motivates all of us to do right by our planet, to reach out across borders, to be aware and nourishing of all sentient beings. With love, barriers come down, connections come to the forefront and we expand our circle…the rusty markings, Fiona calls them “foxing”, remind me of the fragility of our world but then Fiona’s strong stitching vibrates with intention, awareness while at the same time, bringing comfort to all who view this lovely work.

simple may be but LOVEly !!!

  3. ravenandsparrow says:

White on white brings all the textures and incidental marks into the spirit of the piece. I love the beautiful shapes of the letters of love.

  4. Ah…….lovely love from Fiona!

  5. Liz A says:

Fiona’s stitching is so fine, as is her Heartbeat lettering … I can imagine you “reading” them between your fingertips, recalling the wonderful hand of the satin

    • Mo Crow says:

(((Liz))) Fiona’s knows more than a thing or two about stitching, those rows and rows of ‘love’ & the blanket stitch tenderly holding the frayed edge and the rows of kantha hold true, enhancing the cloth and strengthening the integrity off the edge, braille for the soul indeed!

  6. tina says:

A simple 4 letter word .. A beautiful powerful message … LOVE is the answer!

  7. deemallon says:

it’s all about the placement of the word, the flow of the (heartbeat) script, the simplicity. Oh it speaks volumes!

  8. Hazel says:

Elegant is the perfect word, and love how the memory of the wedding gown remains & is transformed in her design.
