    These calm blues just melt right in with the others. Wonderful! I can feel the Love!

  2. Louise Watson says:

    Lovely work! Love the colour and the beads and tassel!

  3. Liz A says:

    Thank you for the link to Kathy’s Instagram … I do miss her blog, so I took a wander back through Dee’s Hearts for Charleston project, to reconnect with Kathy’s stitching … another labor of love.

    Then came back to here and now … loving the blue, the tasseled tumble of shreds especially, brought together by Kathy’s inimitable beadwork. And “Love” above all …

  4. ravenandsparrow says:

    Yay Kathy! Her pennant has the most beautiful tail. It makes for an interesting divergence in profile when hung with the others. I, too, love the watery colors and the beaded connector.

      (((Kathy))) here’s a beautiful spiritwise comment from Marti in New Mexico who has been offline for a few weeks;
      “Comfort and connection held me as I looked at Kathy’s warm pennant. Yes, it is filled with the cool, mellow, calming, soft color of blue yet contained within that color are the circles, delicately surrounded by stitch and it is these circles that enfold, giving off a connecting warmness, a hug if you will, that says, come, let us together heal our world and collectively dream of a planet where Love is the Answer.

      Each pennant is uniquely special; viewing them singularly and collectively, bestows the viewer with a spirit uplifting story.”

  6. fiberels says:

    Oh yes ! they’re gathering quite quick now !
    Lovely piece this one with the long cloth tassel !
    Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhh that eye !!! a beauty

  7. deemallon says:

    I agree about the quality of the blue here (heavenly) and also with Marti’s comment about viewing the pennants alone and together. Kathy’s looks so great next to Beth’s tree and Dana’s fish!

  8. Fiona says:

    Another beautiful calming and love-filled pennant. How fascinating to see them all together and realise how harmonious they are – love must be the common thread? xF
