PS Marti just sent this photo of her cloth confetti!
When I read your post about the Libris nomination, I went to my container of Winter Solstice/Christmas cards, decorations, etc. and took out your 2017 lovely Honesty Christmas card. Placed it on my dresser, tossed my cloth confetti (dyed long scraps) and said a joyful blessing for you. Thought you might like to see the photo. So proud of you, best news all year… Lv, Marti
Congratulations Mo. It really is an extraordinary piece of work.
(((Beth))) this book came together in the last month of our beautiful muse Ariel P. Cat’s life, almost a year ago on this Full Moon
Oh WoW Mo!!! Congratulations! The beauty and honesty you share with the world is so needed! 🙂

(((Linda))) it’s very exciting!
Stars are shining on high, mighty winds sighing “Well Done Mo” coming to you from here in blustery New Mexico and most of all, smiles from all around our dear earth BECAUSE Mo, you have rightfully been acknowledged for your artistry, your creativity, your encompassing vision that promotes so much beauty, love and truth in this world…Joyful congratulations Mo and when I read this, I went to my cloth scrap basket, took out a handful of dyed cloth strands and tossed them in the air-cloth confetti to honor you and this stellar achievement!
(((Marti))) what a beautiful word picture, dancing here on this nearly full moon night with your cloth dyed confetti floating in the ether!
You so deserve this Mo-fingers and everything else crossed! Your work is so beautiful. Well done!
(((Rene))) am very happy to make the cut, third time lucky!
how so Great…and how it feels to have your Love of the Making acknowledged by this…
BIG HAPPINESS!!!!!
(((Grace))) it is, this is such a magic year!
Wonderful news … you must be over the moon!
(((Liz))) I am totally over the moon and talking of moons, am making a little silver ladder for Once in a Blue Moon to submit for the Woolahra Small Scuplture Prize, the applications open on Sunday. The retractable ladder was fun to make but flawed & detracted from the form.
ha ! the cloth wreath is there already … hip hip hooray !
(((Els))) Marti is such a treasure, dancing the night away just before dawn here in the Land Down Under!
Congratulations Mo! I was in Mackay last week and asked to see a few of the books from previous years . . . a glorious selection.
(((Wendy))) haven’t visited Mackay since 1976, am hoping to get there for the opening!
Congrats, Mo! xx
(((Di))) if I can’t make it to the opening will you be going?
Beyond wonderful Mo. Congratulations, it’s a beautiful book. You’ll be walking on air 🙂
(((Nanette))) thank goodness we have a bit of gardening to do this morning to get my feet back on the ground (just watering and tidying up a friend’s place whilst she’s away although it does feel a bit un-Australian to work on a public holiday hehe!)
congratulations, well deserved Mo
(((Jane))) thanks for the good vibes and the heads up re the totally brilliant “Stitched Up” exhibition at the Embroiderers Guild of NSW, must go back and take another squizz with a camera!

(((Tina))) just got in from a bit of gardening, good to get my feet almost back on the ground!
I am spellbound with this beautiful book Mo. You say you think it is the most beautiful book you have made and I can quite believe that. I have one small sprig of honesty waiting to be drawn into one of my books but my mind would never have come up with such a gorgeous concept as this. Inspirational.
(((Susan))) thanks for the good words, if you click on the Honesty tag at the top of this post there’s lots more explorations of this beautiful plant!
Great to hear of your success. A tribute to you, art and the botanical world!! Honestly!!
(((Jan))) it’s such a beautiful plant that has all but disappeared from the florists and flower markets, will plant more seeds for the Full Moon although it’s a bit too hot to grow well here in summer, have one pot growing happily in a northeast facing position with dappled light in the middle of the day.
Such good news, well deserved! 🙆♀️
(((Leonie))) these awards are odd things, it’s so disappointing when a book doesn’t make the cut and yet so exciting when it does!
