“Hope is the thing with feathers
That perches in the soul
And sings the tune without the words
And never stops at all”
first verse of Hope by Emily Dickinson
and just one more thing with feathers

They look amazing, Mo. I particularly like the last picture with the wishbone.
Peaceful winter / summer greetings to you.

Nice collection – good to have lots of hope around, or flying in and out. One can never have enough.
that last one is yours & is on it’s way, may well get there by the Solstice x fingers!
and I am one of the lucky, luck recipients!! season’s greetings to you!
Rainbow lorikeets have recently taken to breakfasting in the palms above our deck and I have asked(nicely!) if they will drop a few tiny breast feathers for me…I love the bright colour in these.Reminds me of the fishing flies I loved as a kid!
I am still amazed by the fabulousness of rainbow lorikeets, crimson rosellas and those naughty tricksters the sulphur crested cockatoos even though i have lived in Australia for nearly 44 years & always feel that when I find a feather it’s a gift! I have taken a double white brugmansia cutting for you but will wait to send it up til the cooler weather in February or even March.
Oh! Lovely. I bought a Curcuma”Voodoo Magic” which has off=sets, if you’d like one?
Oh yes please let’s wait to plant swap til the cooler weather though OK?
