time to let the glue dry for 24 hours then start weaving the dark moon into place with waxed black linen thread
Materials so far:
Bangalow palm inflorescence from one of our customer’s gardens 7 years ago painted white last weekend with Porters Chalk Emulsion “popcorn” white (a very flat ochre like paint that flows easily over any surface)
hand blown black glass from Pilchuck Glass School in 1989
grape vine tendrils painted black Art Spectrum Black artist’s pigmented ink
glued in with acid free bookbinders PVA
