It’s a year since Old Man Crow left the stage, the saddest most magical year of my life.
“Poet Kahlil Gibran said, “The deeper that sorrow carves into your being, the more joy you can contain.”
from The Geometry of Sorrow interview with Francis Weller
A year, wow a whole year, what a great photo…I remember. Peas in a pod.❤
(((Mo))) sending you love – and oh – such a poignantly beautiful photo of you both
Love to you. Anniversaries are hard.
Mo…one year…you’ve been much on my mind. Sending love to you.
I am sad for you-that you had to go alone to the place you had planned to be together. Sending love xx
A year already. Wow. I’m sure this has been a hard one, Mo. What a loss.
A year of…sadness, discovery, a new chapter but the title remains, Mo and Rod, because a love like yours simply keeps going, changed but always there, always the answer…
John O’Donohue wrote this in his book Anam Cara:…”the dead are here with us, in the air that we are moving through all the time. The only difference between us and the dead is now they are in invisible form. But you can sense the presence of those you love who have died. With the refinement of your soul, you can sense them. You feel that they are near.” And I would add that love allows you to see them, talk to them, touch them in that sacred spaced that exists in our hearts.
A year already and you kept going
As Marti has commented ‘the dead are here with us’
Rod is there with you, in everything that you do Mo
Mo, what great memories and photos you shared! Every anniversary is hard. Lit a candle, held your face in my thoughts.
LOVE…Marg and Mike…oxox
Hi Mo, we all miss Rod. Lots of love. Graham & Jenny
dear Mo … I am grateful that the universe has brought you to a place of peace … may it fill the empty place carved out by Rod’s death
(((Mo))) I’ve learned a lot from you this past year. Here’s to the year of Dunmovin. Hugs and Love.
Sending love and blessings 💚
Loved this photo at the time you first shared it but it now has more depth to it. The love shared in life is still shared in death. What is death? I like Marti’s sharing of words
My wish for you is that you find and let that joy wash over and through you, knowing that Rod will also find joy in that wherever he is.
😌💕
