  1. sending you love dear Mo

    • Mo Crow says:

(((Susi))) I am missing my magical man more than ever but as our old friend Mark Robinson said, I got to live with one of the best men on the planet for more than half this lifetime, he was such a joyous gentle soul. I treasure our memories and dream of meeting him again out in the ether or mingling in the compost some day.

  2. shiborigirl says:

I imagine you sitting on your deck with a cool drink in hand listening to his wonderful music. Sad and grateful at the same time. Love to you. (working on your two months of moons and some others for you)

  3. Martine Bos says:

So wonderful you have his music, you can listen to his voice whenever you want……………

  4. Marti says:

The missing, the memories, the merriment, most of all, the magic of your life with Rod…he has left one stage but he is playing on a cosmic stage now; and he is always with you as as you continue to ” heathen-ize” (is that even a word?) What I mean is that every step that you take in this new home, your beloved Blue Mountains, he steps right along with you, strumming, singing, his spirit surrounding you for his love is ever present…

  5. vdbolyard says:

sending love through this afternoon rain all the way to you. so glad you have the music.

    • Mo Crow says:

(((Velma))) Rod used ProTools on his laptop to record both from home & as a portable studio to record the drums with Dave Hatch in Melbourne. The live recording at The Sando was taken on an iPhone by our friend Richard Whitfield who also caught the man stepping out in the B&W photo with Nick Hope, bass player & long time compadre

  6. Liz A says:

‘twas no coincidence that I was humming I Dream of a World Where Love is the Answer as I stitched today … thinking of you both, so grateful for the connection

  7. Barry says:

MC – it seems both such a long and short time – much love and hugs to you. B

  8. jude says:

His music will rock you 4ever…

  9. Dana says:

I’m sitting here with the headphones on listening to Rod’s music and feeling the hole he has left behind in the world. As you say, sorrow and gratitude all rolled into one.

    • Mo Crow says:

(((Dana))) so good to see you back online, I bought myself a blue dragonfly scarf yesterday, to honour this time of transition & it’s chilly up here in the mountains this week!

  10. grace says:

    he IS. still

  11. Carol says:

((((Mo)))) Six months since our dear Old Man Crow left the stage! The stage may be empty but his memory will live on for a long time. I’m so pleased to have my copy of the illustrated songs … neither of you will be forgotten while that is treasured on many bookshelves. Mo, your courage is inspirational. I’m so happy you have found your new home as a Blackheathen. May you find much peace and happiness. xxx

  12. Hazel says:

Sending love to you, and gratitude for his music and all that the two of you shared…such gifts.

    • Mo Crow says:

(((Hazel))) I keep thinking I have felt as much grief as I possibly can then find that there’s the next level down into the deep well of tears and then the next … & yet there is so much joy in the memories and the music, it’s a rollercoaster ride & I have always enjoyed sitting in the front seat!

  13. Nancy says:

(((Mo))) I was here straight away, back on the 19th…and you’ve been in my thoughts…J. and I discussing and then I thought I’d left a comment, but I think we were listening to his songs and drifting off somewhere. May his memory remain a blessing. May the grief ease over time. May the Love always remain. xo

  14. cednie says:

((((Mo)))) thinking of you and your magical man’s spirit in rainbows. May the celebration of his life continue.
