What a sweet cottage. Love that back deck. And for a little place it looks to have a very functional kitchen. Hope it pans out!

    • Mo Crow says:

(((Dee))) the cottage would fit into the two front rooms here at Chelmsford St, have ditched a lot of stuff in preparation for making the move!

      • deemallon says:

I’m glad you’re going forward even alone. I wondered.

        • Mo Crow says:

(((Dee))) rents in the mountains have gone up by about $100 per week since the Covid virus has allowed people to work from home but they are still cheaper than down here in the city!

  5. Nancy says:

Mo~ Your stitching is exquisite, filled with love, memories and dreams. The cottage is wonderful!!! I too am crossing everything for you!!

    • Mo Crow says:

(((Nancy))) have the attention span of a flea from living on adrenaline since last October when Old Man Crow was first diagnosed with terminal liver cancer, it will be good to learn how to slow down by going bushwalking every day once I make the move!

  6. Rene Walkin says:

Oh Mo! It looks so lovely. Holding thumbs for you and that is a beautiful keepsake bag for your memories. xx

  7. Elizabeth says:

I’m late in getting here Mo, busy day here but oh this cottage is for you and it is for you because it is green and green is for hope and dreams and possibilities and magic. May it come together in a way that is best for you. Your memory bag is exquisite and I especially love the red silk- red for heart, for love, for courage which you have in abundance.

  12. Faith says:

My digits are also crossed for you. 🤞🤞🤞

  13. shiborigirl says:

That back deck is just MADE for moon watching. I hope it becomes yours!

  14. Everything crossed that this becomes your new home.

  15. Liz A says:

the finely stitched letters … Mo, your fingers hold such magic … as does the path through the Glennis moon … such a wonder-full keeper …

and the cottage … oh, I do hope that works out as it sounds like the inspection went well

  16. Beth from Still Life Pond says:

Mo. Can’t help but think of that Rumi quote: “what you seek is seeking you.” May it be so. Your red counting stitches really tugged at my heart.

  17. Margaret Johnson says:

Hi Mo, beautiful stitching as always…Good luck with house hunting,, the little green cottage looks lovely. Marg oxox

    • Mo Crow says:

(((Marg))) still waiting to hear from the real estate agent about the green cottage, went for a long walk to slow myself down this morning and just finished reading a good book, ‘Sudden Traveller’ by Sarah Hall. I had lost the plot trying to spin too many plates all at once but as my friend Bronwyn said, “Mo, you’re dealing with a lot at the moment, it’s ok that the plot is temporarily misplaced” Oh Ha!

      • Mo Crow says:

missed out on the Gates Ave cottage, the next one will be just right!

      • Barry says:

Hi MC – what a gorgeous cottage – sending vibes that you get one similar. Creative response to the bundle of good wishes regarding OMC’s death. Good vibes to you. B

        • Mo Crow says:

(((Barry))) thanks for the good vibes! The knockbacks are helping me define what I really need as I was tying myself in knots trying to work out what else I could get rid of to fit into that lovely cottage. A bit less pristine with more space, good heating & a wild garden with no lawns to mow, are priorities. Will just chill now til after the closing party of Fairfarren on Sunday, then next week put my hunting cap back on & x fingers the right place will happen in the not too faraway!

  18. Carol says:

Dear Mo, wishing you all the best in the house hunting. The right house is out there waiting just for you. Your sewing is, as always, exquisite. (((Mo)))

  19. Saskia van Herwaarden says:

what a shame about that house, as you say, another one will come along
