(((Saskia))) it’s been a full on February of scattering Rod’s ashes with stories, good laughs and more than a few tears in all our Sydney gardens, posted more of Rod’s ashes along with the Fairfarren invitations on Wednesday to faraway friends, then on Thursday caught the train to fall in love with this house in Blackheath, e-mailed a tenancy application to the agent yesterday morning, fingers x-ed I will be a Blackheathen very soon!
will document all the work for Fairfarren this weekend, deliver to Artsite on Monday then help hang & catalogue the show for the preview on the 5th, it’s very exciting and so sad and yet quite joyous all at the same time…
Opening night of March 6, closing night of March 27, I will dance in celebration of Rod; I will dance in honor of the wondrous music of Old Man Crow, I will dance in honor of the spectacular art that you create dear Mo; I will dance in respect and love for the love you both shared, your love of the land, of your community, of all of us, of the world…AND in between the dancing,I will hold good intentions and quiet joy for a new address for you, destination Blackheath.
(((Mo))) … wishing you much success at Artsite and in building your new nest … I can only imagine the gatherings to come, the love that will be the answer to your shared loss of Rod … fairfarren
(((Tina))) I really have my heart set for that fabulous cottage but for the next few days I have to focus on getting the artwork photographed, documented and delivered to Artsite at 3 tomorrow!
Hello Mo, great to see you are getting organised. Will be a beautiful tribute to yours and Rods work together. The house looks fabulous for you and really hope you will be able to get it. Such a beautiful outlook AND a garden!!..Wishing you everything that’s good. Marg…oxox
(((Marg))) have all the artwork packed up ready to take to the gallery at 3pm (it’s just a two minute walk away and the rain looks like it will hold off), just double checking the documentation
(((Hazel))) there’s so much happening all at once but it’s all good except the rain… Barry may not be able to open the show on Sunday as he is rescuing friends in Lismore from the extreme floods up there!
good to see you back here ((Mo)), been thinking a lot about you and Rod x
