a little more time

Old Man Crow’s new Air Pods Pro worked perfectly for the appointment with the oncologist yesterday, the results to see if Rod’s gene markers fit the trial for his specific cancer haven’t come back yet, will know more by next Tuesday. If he’s not a good fit there is another trial for the chemo that has a modified “tail” that they are working on to see if it will help penetrate the cancer cells more effectively. The Chris O’Brien Life House is brilliant, such a light and airy space & so well organized. Whichever way it goes the treatments will begin Friday week on November 5th, it feels good that Rod will be participating in research that has the potential to advance science & give us just a little more time together!

& talking of time, here’s one of the best live recordings ever

Rod took this photo with his iPhone of an echium flower with bees at one of our gardens yesterday morning before the appointment with the oncologist, he’s so good at finding the joy in even the strangest times and still makes me laugh every day!

Finding the joy in every day, that is how to get by. Finding strength and love to face what comes, that is what you both have in spades. Through all of this, Rod holds strong to his wanting to make a difference by helping others as do you Mo and that will be the blessing that surrounds you both as you walk this new path, hand in hand, together AND we walk beside you in hope, in love, in spirit….
