Oh Mo, what a gorgeous drawing of a gorgeous tree!

    • Mo Crow says:

(((Dana))) it’s across the road from the car park of a medical centre where we have been looking after the indoor plants once a week for nearly 30 years!

  2. deemallon says:

    So gorgeous.

    • Mo Crow says:

(((Dee))) one of the most beautiful trees I have ever seen & so carefully looked after, I spoke with the owner when I was doing some rough sketches and found the name of her tree surgeon to pass on to my gardening customers, Nicholas Ford of Canopy Tree

  3. Nancy says:

So gorgeous Mo! This will look lovely on the all of your new mountain home! What a glorious keepsake!

  4. Marti says:

Stunning detailed drawing Mo, simply exquisite.

    • Mo Crow says:

(((Marti))) focusing on this drawing was an attempt to find some sort of sanity in these strange days but had to finish it this morning as a raggedy blue heart stuffed with rose petals wants to come out of the dreamspace and be real

      • Marti says:

Since my June trip to be with my California grand kids for a month was cancelled, I decided to do a round robin story challenge with them. The twins, boy and girl, almost 11 responded happily to the challenge. I took a photo, wrote a few paragraphs, emailed it to them (their parents set up temp emails for them so they could communicate with family and friends) and they responded with 122 creative words that sets the pace for our story that will continue until we feel we have a good story and can write, The End.

  5. Such a beautiful drawing Mo and trees that are particularly close to my heart. I have two E. manniferas planted as street trees outside our house. This past week I have started a new practice of posting a poem, written on a board to one of the trees. There are so many people walking past that I thought I could share something a bit positive to the neighbourhood. Either that or finally convince my neighbours that I am completely batty!🤣 If you are on Instagram you can find pictures on @poettreeACT

  6. John Sutton says:

    Lovely Mo

    • Mo Crow says:

(((John))) have met some beautiful trees over half a life time of living here in Sydney, looking forward to the wild trees and wide views when we move to the Blue Mountains x fingers by the end of the year!

  7. fiberels says:

beautiful tree and drawing, Mo !
(has the tree never been trimmed ? … I mean that it is growing so nicely to “one” side …)

    • Mo Crow says:

(((Els))) Nicholas Ford of Canopy Tree has done a beautiful job of maintaining this tree over the years, eucalypts lose branches naturally and there has also been directional pruning to keep the branches out of the electricity and telephone wires

  8. grace says:

i can FEEL the touch of pencil

  9. Liz A says:

each leaf, the fence pickets shadows and light … branches reaching to the sun …

    • Mo Crow says:

(((Liz))) I love this tree so much, it’s been a pleasure to watch it grow over the years, was so impressed a few months ago when all the brick paving was raised and leveled without any damage to the roots

  10. Hazel says:

You’ve captured it’s elegance & strength, thank you for sharing your gifts with us.

    • Mo Crow says:

(((Hazel))) really needed to try to just focus and take as much time as necessary considering I have the attention span of a flea in these skittish times

  11. fiona says:

What a wonder to be granted the gift of watching that tree for 30 years. I am sitting quietly with that thought and wondering what it might whisper to you? The drawing is exceptional and such a good way to momentarily lose yourself as you concentrate and leave the world of worry for a few stolen moments. Looking forward to seeing a rose-petal filled heart emerge!

    • Mo Crow says:

(((Fiona))) the owner and the tree surgeon have given this tree so much love and care over the years, it’s been a joy to watch it grow. I want to draw all my favourite trees before we move to the Blue Mountains (x fingers by the end of the year) & the raggedy blue moon heart is well underway!
