the dream a year down the track

Posted: March 2, 2020 by Mo Crow in It's Crow Time, The Gathering

I dream of a world where love is the answer opened a year ago at Artsite Gallery
(the catalogue has all the links reconnected after Yumpu deleted them late last year)
our beautiful broken world needs love more than ever
thanks again to everyone who made the dream real
may the ripples of love keep growing
Dream On!

  1. deemallon says:

It seems both a life time ago and like last month.

  2. Beth says:

A year…… And how much can change in a year. It felt so good to be a part of this. I’ll revisit the catalog and savor the experience again. Thank you Mo.

  3. Nancy says:

(((Mo))) A whole year! So glad fires are better, so far to go…spread love. I think you’ll like the song I’m planning to post 🙂 Xo

    • Mo Crow says:

(((Nancy))) you’re a treasure you’ve reminded me of these good words,
“Oh sure, it’s money that rules the world. It’s music that holds down the friction.”
from Ray Bradbury’s short story “The Anthem Sprinters,” also known as “The Queen’s Own Evaders.” The story was first published in Playboy (June 1963)
and I just found the link to your prayer book pennant hanging in your new house

      • Nancy says:

Mo, that’s a great quote. Hard to believe I don’t recall ever reading any RB…and my mom was friends with him!

  4. Marti says:

To be a part of this universal experience, of sending hope and love and connection out into the world, guided by your request and creativity, by Rod’s music, by the combined strength and Spirit of all who answered the call to bring Love to our World, well this experience will never be forgotten. Each day, my revamped pennant sways in the New Mexico wind, reminding me that we need to remain watchful and mindful for there is no Planet B…

  5. Nanette says:

    Wonderful memories!

  6. …a full turn of the year and the message is so central and relevant – good to revisit it Mo
Love to you and thank you

  7. ravenandsparrow says:

Yeah, wow, a year already. Thank you again for creating an opportunity for creativity and community. It was a great experience.

  8. Liz A says:

Dee … I quite agree … it feels like it was all a dream

    • Mo Crow says:

(((Liz))) one of my favourite photos from the journey is of Old Man Crow being blown away by the stitching of every single word of his song into the back of your pennant, here’s the link

  9. Louise Watson says:

A year ago. I can only echo everyone elses sentiments. I think there is more awareness now. Proud to have taken part Mo. Well done you. Fly high on all these responses and memories.

  10. fiona says:

And Mo – how can it be a year? It was a wonderful journey of opening, connecting and restoring love. And what a beautiful beautiful presentation it was in the gallery – wandering between and within the pennants and being surrounded by their most beautiful energy. We had such a good visit (as I hobbled…). Ahhh the love is still there, gently gently healing our beautiful broken world in quiet places.

    • Mo Crow says:

(((Fiona))) meeting you and Barry at the opening was such a treat, you were so brave travelling with a broken toe! You two make such good magic, I am totally blown away by the work you do on so many levels, the art, the peace offerings, the new printmaking studio, the landscaping and the care you give to both your homes & communities here and in Scotland!

  11. jude says:

a year! such a blur for me. my piece got lost in the mail on the way to a new home. Maybe the answer was needed somewhere else.

  12. Saskia van Herwaarden says:

a year already, time flies and not a lot has changed, although on a personal level so much has
    good to remember

  13. Glenda Chamberlain says:

The dream remains the same … a world where everyone realizes that love is the answer!

  14. Martine Bos says:

Mo there’s so much love in those pennants but still not enough to heal this world, lets dream on….

  15. Barry says:

MC – it is hard to think it is a year down – and yet with all the tragedy in the world it seems it is much longer than that – so much hardship, darkness and inaction that seems to push the light out. It is good to remind ourselves that there are beautiful things, beautiful people and beautiful collaborations that continue to do small meaningful things to push the edges of darkness back. Go well, believe and breathe. B
