Olga and I have been friends for half a lifetime, we first met at Sydney College of the Arts in the 80’s, shared a fabulously infamous old house on the waterfront in Balmain in the early 90’s, here’s a link to her website
my dear friend, you continue to inspire and always surprise me!

This is the first pennant to be presented as a horizontal landscape….what an interesting departure! It really captured my imagination that way, but it is also effective as a shimmering gold waterfall. The simplicity of gold and white focuses attention on the life of the color, and the texture of a thousand threads. Its another eye-catcher.
(((Dana))) looking forward to photographing it both ways in the gallery next week in the white space, Olga’s work always makes me see differently!
looks like dripping sweet (honey) dreams 😉
(((Els))) the healing power of colour and stitch
Wowee, the golden tangle of Love! xo
(((Nancy))) indeed!
I do love how it turns in on itself in its vertical form … likewise how the strands read as sunlight beaming down from its horizontal configuration …
(((Liz))) the glow is magic!
Powerful light rays, strands illuminating the fact that when the darkness comes, light will always find the way to connection, to action and to enveloping our world with hope and with love.
