Sharmon Davidson’s Talisman of love for our beautiful, broken world has arrived safe and sound
… a talisman in the form of a book
piece of vintage world map, mother of pearl circles for wholeness, metal and glass beads some in the form of flowers, a ‘blue marble’ Earth and ‘evil eye’ bead for protection
botany estivation diagrams as sigils for the inside; this is my attempt to write in the Earth’s own language
settling in
with the gathering

What a beautiful thing this is. It is so creative.I love seeing all the pieces of this come together as the Gathering. You did good, Mo! Great idea coming to fruition.

  3. Marti says:

What comes from Sharmon’s ancient, book talisman of earth language is a talisman that speaks so strongly of our dear Earth, of what she provides, of how she inspires, of how she has always been here…and of how we must care for her. This talisman moved me deeply for it sings a song of invocation, of protection and of connection and simply, is a wondrous addition to the Gathering.

This is the sort of work/play/thinking that is missing from so much of our lives today.

This talisman is so touching…so accessible…so meaningful. I love the idea of a book, the old map and the sigils that “speak in the earth’s own language”. Strong, beautiful stuff.

MC – the love unfolds with that creative little book – I’m amazed what folk can put into such a small creation. B
