Beautiful! And how fantastic to see that plank bridge at Dante’s Glen. Health and Safety might have a fit, but I think it’s just perfect.
Thank you, Mo
(Going to Artspace this morning)
I love all the old walking tracks in the Blue Mountains, there was a sign saying to be careful and we were as there had been a bit of rain and it was slippery and a bit wobbly! Look forward to seeing your take on the Libris Awards, am chuffed the Book of Honesty got in but would have been even better to win!
Ah! so beautiful Mo. thanks for taking us on the walk with you. Our planet is the most wondrous place. The light was amazing in your photos. Is it always…..where you are?
(((Chrtistina))) the air is so clear & crisp up in the Blue Mountains, here in the inner city it can get a bit hazy with pollution on bad air days but mostly it’s shiny days!
OHHHHHHH … WOW, WOW, WOW !
(((Els))) I loved gently touching all the green of the mosses and lichens freshened by the full moon rain in the night. Sydney is a beautiful city blessed with the wild beauty of the Blue Mountains National Park to the west, the Pacific Ocean to the east, Royal National Park to the south and Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park to the north!
Didn’t know you are surrounded by sooooo much beautiful NATURE !
Ah–the dream of moving to those blue mountains blessed by a rainbow means it must be so!
(((Michelle))) the area I love in the Blue Mountains from Katoomba to Blackheath is just 2 hours from the centre of the city by train with affordable rent for pretty Victorian era cottages with good heating in small communities on the ridges in the National Park, there’s a thriving art and music scene and miles of fabulous bushwalking tracks with the most spectacular vistas, if I can just work out how to keep my hands & feet from going blue with the cold we will move there when I am eligible for the Age Pension in 2021!
Looks like the angophora has her arms filled!
(((Sue))) they are such sinuous magic trees!
A wondrous study in blues …
(((Liz))) the blues of longing
Such a place of peace and solace Mo – so very good for the soul…
(((Fiona))) I am embracing the idea of cold as brisk and invigorating, will buy some thermal underwear for our next excursion up to the mountains in mid winter and am keeping a chart of how cold it gets up there, haven’t lived in a cold climate since working in Falls Creek in the 70’s!
MC – don’t you just love the way nature futures us; and sends us home refreshed. Loved seeing your double rainbow – we had one just a couple of days ago – very auspicious and special. B
(((Barry))) magic days, the next bushwalk will be in mid winter, will get some thermals for the journey!
