(((Martine))) I enjoy exhibiting with Artsite Gallery & have just edited this comment the next day as it was a bit odd & half baked…developing a good relationship with Madeleine, the director of Artsite over the past 7 years has given my work wings.
In this 21st C world of instantaneous online everything, the contemplative space of a gallery is more important than ever. The audience and the artist need the space to engage with the work & ignite the imagination.
but I still get nervous about the openings!

(((Els))) it would be so good to see you here in Sydney… I have been practicing astral projection for many years but still can’t get where I want to go … the world wide web does a pretty good job for now but this is the 21st C & we do need a Matter Transfer Unit!

That ‘contemplative space’ is indeed more important than ever
(((Susi))) I have spent this last few mornings mending Old Man Crow’s good old jacket, it’s really turning into lace, he wears it well, will post photos again soon!
I’ll bet those necklaces will want to sell 10 x over.
(((Dee)))Madeleine has done a wonderful hang, will post more photos after the opening this arvo, in the meantime mending Old Man Crow’s never ending jacket is good self soothing behaviour a bit like purring!
