out on the edge of the dark side of Once in a Blue Moon

detail of x’s once the edge is finished I can get started on the retractable moon ladder!

That is so beautiful Mo-well done! What an exercise in patience. Regards, Rene. >

  2. Oooh so lovely. And those crosses, love them. Hard work but a great result.

  3. Liz A says:

Spiritual labyrinths are a way to center self … meditative paths walked without the impediments associated with mazes. Your hands have walked a labyrinth in the creation of this dark side of the moon. And if you had to turn back early on and start over from the beginning, that just makes the ending that much sweeter. But I can’t help thinking you must have been both gratified to end and sorry to leave the path in equal measure.

about halfway around it felt like I was walking through the desert, the edge felt no closer for about a week & a half then in the last few days it has moved again, a long journey but it’s the most beautiful thing I have ever made & looking forward to making the retractable ladder!

The even quality of coil and tension is very touching. This piece is already beautiful.

What an epic journey from the inside to the outside Mo – and happy arrivals! I love the x-marks so much; not only are they functional., but they are markers of such beauty; they remind us of what lies beneath and may otherwise be hidden. Simply stunning. A part of me loves that you have spent 500 hours already so far – makes me feel OK about my slow making! And now to the ladder…go well!

  8. Dotti says:
