    Old guitar strings! Brilliant!!

And your stitches are so incredibly fine. What an amazing creation.

    • Mo Crow says:

I thought at first grey silk cord or bundles of boar bristles but the guitar strings are just right, both in the wound texture & especially the springiness, it’s in that awkward in-between stage, wish I had photographed it with all the panels stitched as a star flower with the real urchin as the centre but missed that moment in my excitement of going 3D… the next one will be black leather with black stitching, it may be a bit sinister like a black hole…

  2. could not be more perfect, the guitar strings…this is so Great, watching it come ALIVE

  3. dinahmow says:

It does/did look like a flannel flower in the beginning stage.I’d love to hold it

  4. Such an enticing glimpse!

  5. Such a wonderfully creative trip! Love the guitar strings holding the curves – hope it’s going well as the light of dawn emerges

    • Mo Crow says:

(((Susi))) hmmm… one step forwards two steps back, at dawn I realized the first panel was misaligned so unpicked it and have nearly got it back in place & it looks much better, thank goodness stitching is so forgiving!

  6. arlee says:

  12. coloremartine says:

Oh Mo you are stitching music…………………

    • Mo Crow says:

(((Martine))) an artist friend Chris Varady-Szabo who I have known for over 40 years is in town from far northern Quebec & popped in for a catch up yesterday, he couldn’t resist wearing Sea Urchin 3 in process as a cap, it fit so perfectly & looked great on, just wish I had caught a photo, what a joker!

  13. perlhuhn52 says:

That is so exciting to see how it develops! Ingenous! Love it

  14. Hazel says:

I never imagined how grand this would be! Have been amazed at the stitching, but now at your brilliant engineering mind!

    • Mo Crow says:

Old Man Crow did years of engineering at university and became a musician, he knows all too well how very illogical & unengineering my mind truly is, I believe in magic, especially the glow factor…

  15. shemann says:

  16. the moment it will be ready you

  17. Dotti says:
