making sense of Sea Urchin III stitch by stitch
each panel informs the next, held the urchin under the magnifying lens
and realized each of the bumps look like a tiny breast replete with nipple & areole!
felt is so easy to stitch & manipulate, this is fun!

Loving it!
me too!
I can only imagine how much fun Mo – it’s great fun just watching from here! I think stitching is about the only way to make sense of anything right now…keep stitching!
(((Fiona))) it’s starting to make sense!
there’s much beauty in grey, and i like your in process shots.
am loving this exploration of Braille for the Soul listening to the form through my fingertips and a limited pallette
what a path of learning on this project.
quietly listening with my fingertips
I love the subtlety of tone on tone.
it works!
So good to see something that makes sense and is beautiful too……………
(((Martine))) making sense of the intricate surfaces of the sea urchin one tiny stitch at a time… tenderly, gently in an attempt to understand these strange disturbing times
science in stitch!
(((Hazel)))
“Quietly listening with my fingertips” – that sums you up perfectly, Mo! What a beautiful project this is.
a quiet place to lose myself in these strange days
This is gorgeous! I hope you share it when you complete it.

LOVE it !
(((Els))) getting there one stitch at a time
