feels like a gentle place to visit….love photo of the ferns……

    • Mo Crow says:

It’s a beautiful cool climate garden, loved seeing peonies budding up! Sturt is well known for their woodwork school & has a good selection of summer and winter art & craft courses, both Tracey and Bronwyn have given workshops there. It’s in the grounds of Frensham, an elite girl’s school with a very good reputation. Prickly rasp fern aka Doodia aspera are native to the east coast, they are one of the toughest little plants & would do well under your big liquid amber.

Just read your response Mo. Thanx for the tip as I have been looking for something to plant under L.A. Unfortunately the front LA is dying from the top down and will have to be cut down….sad but true. She is not looking too well this year and a few months ago she dropped a big branch onto the fence with a pedestrian & baby maybe 10/12 ft. away.
