  1. Simply stunning work Mo . . . Stunning!

    • Mo Crow says:

(((Wendy))) click on the links for better photos of the details, they were surprisingly shy to photograph in the gallery!

      • I have! They’re wonderful! I doubt the materials would get through NZ Customs without fumigation. Once I brought back a horse puppet with a hair mane and tail that they wanted to fumigate. As it was an $8 puppet and fumigation would have cost $25 I decided to rip out the hair and replace it . . . the irony was that it was for a little girl going through chemotherapy and all her hair has fallen out so she loved it.

        • Mo Crow says:

love it, reminds me of the Skin Horse’s wise words to The Velveteen Rabbit-
‘It doesn’t happen all at once,’ said the Skin Horse. ‘You become. It takes a long time. That’s why it doesn’t happen often to people who break easily, or have sharp edges, or who have to be carefully kept. Generally, by the time you are Real, most of your hair has been loved off, and your eyes drop out and you get loose in the joints and very shabby. But these things don’t matter at all, because once you are Real you can’t be ugly, except to people who don’t understand.”
― Margery Williams, The Velveteen Rabbit

    So beautiful……..all of them…………

  3. Eliene says:

It is a real pleasure to be reminded of some of your not so recent works….like the scarf. You are so busy creating…and sharing…that one forgets. Thank you. I hope Roderick has fun today with an appreciative audience.

  4. Mo, I have just spent a good chunk of time (a great chunk of time, actually) reading over your last 9 or 10 posts, and I don’t even know what to say. To see this tremendous project through to fruition must be just the best feeling ever. Watching the drawings come to life one by one, along with all your magickally powerful amulets and other work, I now just have the greatest feeling of joy for you – “congratulations” doesn’t begin to cover it. You are an inspiration to me, an example of what happens when you set your intentions and follow them through over a long period of time. I don’t know if I’m making any sense here, but I hope something of what I mean comes through, and doesn’t seem too stupid. Thank you. xoxo

  5. Carol says:

So thrilled to be the custodian of one of your Crow Eye Amulets, Mo! And The Book! Stunning! Have a wonderful day, you and Rod deserve all the accolades that come your way.

  6. Robyn says:

So much to love in these images, Mo! Tendrils seem to be your trade mark and they look exquisite against the white wall no matter what they are made from. The crow taking flight on the cotton scarf has caught my attention and I’ve scrolled back and forth to it several times. It remains imprinted on my mind.

  7. ravenandsparrow says:

It is so great for me to see your work all together and so beautifully displayed! It must be much more exciting for you. What a wonderful show. I wish I could see it in person.

    • Mo Crow says:

(((Dana))) it’s such a buzz seeing the last 5 years work all in one space, am reveling in all the good feedback, it’s been the best week ever in my whole life and there’s another 2 to go!

  8. handstories says:

Oh, that scarf…it is wings of beauty!
So, enjoying the sights & sounds of your book.
