this piece of driftwood inlaid with coloured sands by Mother Nature washed up on the beach many years ago
polished by the years of holding on…
You will love the Fiona Hall exhibition a wall Mandala of driftwood
I am looking forward to it!
Its absolutely beautiful … and the third photo took me by surprise because it seemed so big, so majestic. Still beautiful though 🙂
it’s one of my most treasured gifts from the sea, it’s been with me longer than I can remember!
Mother nature is the ultimate gift giver. Just for perspective…time- our construct not hers – it’s 6:20 Am Monday the 9th of May in New York City and the temperature is in the high fifties. Pigeons chortle on my window sill, and traffic is at a minimum. This won’t last.
what a wonderful post
I love driftwood… this one was carefully decorated by the Big Mamma 🙂
the power of water, sand and time
WOW ! That’s an AMULET all by itself
(uhhhhm … by Mother Nature 😉 !)
I was surprised by the size, too! I love gifts that can be held.
it fits in my pocket on the days when I need something to hold onto and today was one of them, it works good magic!
Nature’s beautiful work, this is a wonderful piece
the best magic!
Nothing like a talisman in the pocket for those times you need one. What a beautiful piece of driftwood. I have a small hand piece that I’ve treasured for many years; it looks to me like a whale…
the true treasures in this lifetime
