Wonderful talisman, Mo! And how fabulous is your collection of treasures for your exhibition! All that red, black and white is stunning. The Crow Show will be fabulous!
those 100 red heart talismans do make a statement, thanks for all the good words Carol!
Isn’t that just stunning!
A flight feather indeed. The very shape of this beauty induces images of soaring to flood my mind. It is a powerful metaphor for our innate wish for release from the narrowness of ourselves and the constrictions of the moment. Your talisman speaks to that I think.
you have such a great way with words Dana, thank you!
I told the story of your feather to the crows who visit me daily – a flight feather – that is a treasured gift for you!
trying to keep that feather from flying off the bench while I was working on it was amusing, another good example of the flighty nature of chance !
Love this Mo, the flight feather is so glossy and powerful!
it’s a beauty!
Mo, the way you put together the elements you are gifted with from mother nature is powerful.
feathers, shells, bones, stone and driftwood have found their way into my hands since 1976… that’s nearly 40 years!
for the first time I see how a single feather looks like an entire wing, this one with treasures at its tip…they probably help carry one to magical places.
