It feels good to complete a project and tidy up the remains. Best wishes for the silliest of seasons! The beauty of your weathered, watered wall is breathtaking.

Your working space looks so neat Mo…….but even thru cyber space one can feel the warmth of the space. Job well done.

    ah, the lessening….

Envy your clutter clearing, Mo. Enjoy your festive season, after all your hard work.

I’m not good at ripping up and discarding, as is obvious every time I walk into my studio. I’ve learnt so much from you over the years, Mo, maybe it’s time to take this advice on board now. ((((Mo))))

  6. Definitely . . . a clear out and moving on. I’m doing the same before I become submerged in my small space which seems to be threatening to take over the house. And the stunning wall . . . who said that a disaster can’t bring a brilliant opportunity? Not me.

Oh … my heart skipped a beat when you said five years worth of sketches went into the recycling! I can only imagine what a collage artist might have done with such treasures!!

Still, having cleared the proverbial decks before we moved 1700 miles cross country six years ago, I have to agree that less is more.

Oh Ha! that is exactly why I ripped them up there is no way I want someone else using my rubbish aka keeping an eye on what I leave to posterity, when I was 22 I burned all my art in a huge bonfire that took hours to burn, an amazingly freeing experience!
