finally found the perfect pair of new winter boots for the first time since 1977!
they are soooo comfortable & look flash to boot!
Oh yes, I’m reminded of a pair of perfect boots I once owned back in the 80s, heeled and toed many times until the uppers finally wore through . . . maybe I’ll find another pair some day.
these should last the rest of my life!
You can zip them together!
They look really great, Mo, and there’s nothing better in winter than boots that are comfy and look good. May they last forever. Just settling in to our fourth day without power here! School is closed for the same reason, so the children are having an extra week of holidays, which they don’t want. I’m looking forward to a hot shower, to put away the candles and torches, and to be able to boil water! Maybe tomorrow! Oh, and we lost some BIG trees. Very scary…
Oh yikes, hope you get the power back on today Carol!
Gosh what a wild storm, it’s so good to see some blue sky here this morning
had lots of gardeners’ days off to do the editing of the second draft & am printing it out today and tomoorow, will bind it on the weekend and hand it over to our artist/editor friend Richard to wield his red pen!
We were declared a disaster zone! Power now on after five days! I found it very depressing living in the dark – by 6:30 at night it was dark, and in the two days of the actual storm it was too dark during the day to read. Driving around the local roads was very daunting to see the damage to houses, sheds, fences, all the power lines down… We were so lucky that our big trees fell either onto the road (no traffic at that moment), or just clipped the roof and the RV. Chainsaws going non stop everywhere, and the garden is a mess of water, mud and debris. However, after a week closed, it seems the school can open tomorrow, and life will get back to normal. I hope!
good to hear the power is back on, we need the sun to come out to dry everything out!
So kicky! But winter… I’m so glad to be on the rising end of the teeter totter for that one. Suddenly green here. How could I have forgotten GREEN.
have been wanting a get a pair of good comfy boots all this century ever since those ones I bought back in the 70’s for the snow season fell apart!
The new boots look so very soft….oh the luxury of having a good looking plus comfortable pair of boots.
have been on the hunt for 6 weeks, I like the ruched style this year but nothing fit right ’til this pair, if the zips give out I’ll just stitch buttons and loops in place!
Love ya boots Mo, the zips and the ruching look ace. I love my Red Backs. ox
I wear my Red Backs for gardening, they are so tough and comfortable, Rossis are good too, used to love Blundstones but they changed somewhere back in the 90’s.
Congratulations! This must be the year for black shoes. I finally found the perfect black shoes in Jan. Actually, K found them (he’s a much better shopper)…after years of buying black shoes for events & returning them for painful reasons.
Shoes have to fit perfectly for Pisceans, these boots have taken 20 years to find!
You’re stylin’ Mo. Congratulations on a great find.
