i’m afraid i haven’t kept up–no time much, but congratulations!
thanks Velma! these are the golden years as Keith Richards put it so well-
“Getting old is a fascinating thing. The older you get the older you want to be.”
Lucky you . . . I’ve just been looking at her website . . . wonderous!
She is!
spoiled…maybe, but for Sure, loved
Bronwyn is such an inspiration, an incredibly hard worker she makes a living full time from her art, no compromise!
GORGEOUS Mo, being spoiled is sooo special, as is spoiling others. Turning 60, a year for to cherish. I’ll be 67 this year, and I’m finding my 60’s to be more than I hoped they would be. Many happies Mo, from Marg, ox
Thank you Marg!
You are lucky in your friends, but not at all spoiled. These lovely things have come to someone who will really appreciate them. Happy 60th again.
(((Dana)))
Just stunning, Mo! What a wonderful friend she is, just as you are, too! ((((Mo))))
Thanks Carol!
Oh, the bee is so precious Mo – I love the warmth of it; and are those echidna quills emerging from the pod? Happy continuing birthday i say – make a month of it!
Thanks Fiona, this turning 60 caper is fun! Those are echidna quills on patinated copper wire Pod, the Bee is pokerworked on waxed and gold leafed paper attached with very fine copper wire to thick watercolour paper
They are beautiful, happy 60th
thanks Debbie
Spoiled? NO…no no no…just fortunate and well treated as you should be. I’ve finally got a day when I’m just catching up with blogs and may I say the last two or three posts were just lovely…How clever that heart to lead one to song, and I’m EXTREMELY fond of Walking home with Mr. Bones…just an elegant (all your line work is) evocation of friendship the way one figure weaves over the other….SUPER fine Mo. Sixty years experience and art practice has paid some mighty dividends.
Hey you are way too kind Michelle but thanks heaps for all the good words & encouragement!
wow mo ! such beautiful treasure indeed as you begin the next decade
had to laugh when we were buying work shirts and trousers last week (we were starting to look a little too scruffy even for gardners) the young shop assistants were ever o helpful and polite hehe! this getting old caper is all right!
Gorgeous.
Bronwyn shines bright!
a belated happy birthday from me too, Mo and it’s really good you were spoiled, 60 is quite something!
thanks Saskia, it’s surprising to still be having so much fun!
