Old Man Crow’s recordings
These are all just unbelievable; the whole thing when finished and put together will be mind-blowing. It must be wonderful to see them coming to fruition….
thanks for the good words Sharmon, it’s getting real now with being able to turn the pages!
Turning your own pages . . . now there’s an image! I’m enjoying starting my day with you both . . . there’s a hint of Crash Test Dummies here (for me anyway) and I think I need to dig out the old CDs and have a dance.
this one was written before we first heard the Crash Test Dummies wonderful “Mmmm Mmmm Mmmm Mmmm” in 1993, thanks they were a great band!
That is the most beautiful crow, Mo! That beak, those feathers – perfection! Great song…
it’s a raven from the Tower of London Jackie Morris took the photo and gave me permission me to draw from it
Okay, now I’ve seen the beautiful Merlin! and the wolves! Jackie is just amazing. Somehow I misssed that post…
Jackie is such an inspiration
This one was drawn with white gouache and black ink on the deepest black paper available but when it came to printing the scanned image I had to lighten it a lot to see the delicate details!
I keep coming back to look at these. Each illustration is a novel’s worth of story. So wonderful.
songs are amazing how they can transport the listener in the space of app three minutes
Just went through all the MP3s and all the drawings and “Beauty” twice!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Just went back to listen to “walkin Home With Mr. Bones” again…it’s kind and tender and wise. Makes me smile.
Mr Bones was so cool
I’ve just been a wandering Mo – so many gorgeous moments. The whole thing is coming together so well and I’ve just enjoyed Beauty – will be back for more as the moments permit, thank you for sharing this.
thanks for the encouragement Fiona!
