the process is getting more fluent by the day & the book is growing !
I’m just loving all these drawings and music Mo . . .keep ’em coming.
this is song no 6 out of 38, the 12″ x 12″ hand bound prototype will be ready to take to the printer by the Spring Equinox in September. Old Man Crow is getting the last recordings together for the launch at Artsite Gallery in mid 2016. If I have any spare time after hand colouring the first edition of 100 will make some Black & White Talismans with a dash of Red, I do love a big sprawling project!
That sound really exciting . . and yes to the B/W with red . . . love yesterday’s Life of Crime with the little red heart.
each printout has a dash of red (Flame Red Series 1 W&N gouache) hand painted with a 000 Series 7 W&N sable, you can see them all so far here
Sprawling project is right. What a fabulous collaboration.
thanks Dana what a year this is and it’s not even a month old!
Wow- all of these are just looking fantastic! You have done yourself proud!
Thanks for the good words Sharmon, it’s really getting there, the next one is Paradise which needs some work before scanning. I had put it away to let it incubate for a few years and can see what it needs now!
what artists you are…such togetherness!
(((Yvette))) feels like my whole life has been preparing for this book!
Mo, your last comment to Yvette is so telling and beautiful. You and Rod are producing something so wonderful, and you’re doing it together. That’s Crow magic!
This book of songs, drawings, so amazingly wondrous; this journey of a lifetime. How special and spirit filled it is because you are doing it together, a gift to each other, a gift to all of us.
(((Marti))) the dream is coming true
