Mo, the detail is amazing! I nearly got lost in the enlargements.

  2. fiberels says:

What a very beautiful drawing Mo !
    (and lyrics)

Thanks that we can see the enlargments 😉

  3. velma bolyard says:

    this is really cool!

    • Mo Crow says:

thanks for visiting Velma, am loving the editing although there has been a few trials this week! On Monday I poured a cup of coffee into the keyboard giving me a good excuse to get a new one which works really well, then on Thursday I had so much happening on the desktop Photoshop crashed in mid edit after 4 hours of unsaved work which taught me to save after adding each layer (the drawings are on big sheets of watercolour paper scanned in 8 passes on the A4 scanner then stitched together on the computer, then yesterday a paper jam totally freaked out the 5 year old Canon A3 printer which has been brilliant and works very hard, x fingers it will last the distance to get the prototype finished!
NB Mercury is in retrograde for the next 3 weeks… back up data, communications can be easily misread, state the bleeding obvious

  4. Dana says:

Every new drawing is a revelation. Your work is so beautiful and complement the lyrics perfectly. Your study of crow skeletons really shows here. Good luck with the computer glitches…nothing like technical breakdowns to send you over the edge.

    • Mo Crow says:

Thanks Dana, working from 2am to 9am each morning the logical side of my brain isn’t always fully functioning so the good thing about Mercury moving into retrograde is it gave me a sharp wake up call! Each of the scanned drawings gets very big before I merge down the layers (ie 1.3 GB) to reduce them to 12″ x 24″ print ready files and then convert them to web ready files for this blog. The scanner is brand new and brilliant but I have my fingers, eyes and toes x-ed that the 2008 model iMac & the 2010 Canon A3 printer will keeep going long enough to finish the job…
