our friend Carol loved horses, we made a little book for Eric and Carol called “The Visitor”, this page was for her
and Eric is the Dragon of Dragonglass
I love Old Man Crow’s economy of line, he drew the doorways and the suggestion of a doorman
NB can’t remember what year this was… we were still living at 271 so it was probably around the turn of the century
for the love of horses & dragons

What a lovely present.☺
This was one of our first collaborations in honour of two of our best & most inspiring friends, sadly Carol passed away this year, we miss her a lot!
you BOTH draw. Sigh.
Mo, I have a bookbinding question and can’t find your email–can you send it me at juliestockler@gmail.com if you don’t want to post it here? Thank you!
Hi Julie, will write to you as soon as I finish this comment
my e-mail is mo(at)bluecatheaven(dot)com(dot)au
& re Old Man Crow’s drawing… he gets a very clear idea that he can see in his mind, centres his energy then draws it with a few swift marks, it’s a very Zen thing sometimes it works really well as in these two and I especially love his drawing of the smoking man other times don”t quite get there like the Old Man Crow logo, I say OK great idea but I’ll draw it. A lot of friends like the xmas card when I made a linocut of one of his drawings best of all!
Your links took me on a sweet small journey … Carol looks like she was a most remarkable woman … you all must miss her terribly
life can be so very brief… Carol lit up our lives so brightly with her great sense of humour and beautiful art, Fly Free sweet lady!
