“The Peace Duck” by Michael Leunig
give peace a chance ..
all we are saying!
love this idea!
you are doing the Peace Tree too & India Flint is asking for prayer flags of solace for the world! Each one of us has to shine as bright as we can in these strange days!
Hello Mo. I am a huge Leunig fan and think I own just about all his books. I often give them as gifts as well as his sense of humour and pathos really just hit the mark so well. I will have a look through some of his work on the 21st to see what else he has to say about peace.
I replied to your amazing comment on my blog with a request, and wonder if you would pop back and have a look there please. 🙂
me again. Many thanks Mo. May use the article in a new post … all of it is amazing. I just ordered a copy of Margaret Atwood’s book so I can immerse myself. Have often seen her interviewed but do not think I have read anything of hers. Can’t wait.
oh you have lots of delightful reading ahead, my favourite Margaret Atwood books are
The Handmaid’s Tale
Murder in The Dark
Negotiating with the Dead: A writer on writing
