“Brass key, back door” (photo study) Mo 2014
that’s the idea so far…
(& a link to Old Man Crow playing it live here)
Mo, is old man playing in your house? His songs are Always touching my heart so deep.
Hi Yvette, on this clip Old Man Crow is playing downstairs in our lounge room, Here’s Your Hat & Candlelight are upstairs in the music room aka Rod’s Shed.
shadow tells such a story. watching this with interest.
x fingers the drawing will “get it” as well as the photo does!
I like the shadow created Mo…….l o w…….appropriate tone for both the voice and the song. Good job Rod!!
was thinking it could read as a loosened up love as well
that’s exactly what i saw….a loosened up love…..yes……..
the more i look at it , the more it’s exactly how love IS
and the more I try to draw it the further away I get!
I know you will capture this! You’ve done it so well with all the other songs!
it’s catching on fire today will see….
i LOVE this
so do Saskia! I but I need to draw the song to fit in with the other 37 illustrations… for continuity… & this morning I let the first attempt go as a place to just play around with ideas and techniques until the New Moon next week when I will start again on a nice fresh sheet of the Saunders Waterford H/P 425 gsm paper, one of the things I really love about working with paper is even the very best sheet is not that expensive and can be trashed!
