2014kaiser1Sturt Gallery has brought together a fabulous retrospective honouring Virginia Kaiser’s work and process, the show closes this Sunday so if you are in the area don’t miss it!

    sometimes the things I love most at a show of this caliber, are the drawings! That’s not the case here, there is too much else that grabs me (the tall stalks stuck in a drum; that cylinder with ochre-colored flanges; the desert totems). thanks for sharing.

    Breathtaking! So sorry not to see this in person but thank you for your lovely photos. So much to take in, and I love the tools – always wonderful to get an insight into process. I have bits of palm fronds and “hair” in my stash but I wish I had the ability to make such wonders as these.
