may add a bit more with some bookbinders paste, the UHU all purpose adhesive works well for sticking things quickly onto glass but I can’t handle toxic fumes for more than a few minutes, have been smudging with white sage for hours and drinking herbal tea as an antidote!

  1. Carol says:

Very satisfying Mo, and way nicer than three ducks (or kookaburras) on the wall. Such a handsome bantam too! Be careful with those toxic fumes…

    • Mo Crow says:

Hehe! you reminded me of many years ago a friend had a collection of 100’s of ducks on his wall and Oh yeah, I’m listening re the toxic material… I only allow myself to do this sort of thing for a few minutes every few years!

  2. I love it! Wonderful chicken, with or without cows and waffles! (Never mind, you probably don’t want to know…)

    • Mo Crow says:

oh but I do want to know Sharmon!?!

      • So, people in a printmakers club (of which I’m a member) have a running joke about an article which listed the artistic subject matter that sells best. Apparently, artwork depicting chickens and cows are top-sellers, along with landscapes. We’re having a show called “buy this?”, and I joked that I would do a piece with a chicken sitting on the back of a cow which is standing in the fountain on Fountain Square. My dad has been telling me for years that if only I would do drawings of local landmarks like Fountain Square, I could sell lots of art. Obviously, combining all of these will make me a millionaire for sure! The part about the waffles is a running joke between me and my husband and kids. Some African-American students told me they were going to a soul food restaurant; when I asked what they were going to have, they replied, “chicken and waffles.” I still don’t get how that’s soul food, or why one would eat those two things together… And now you know just how strange I truly am. LOL
