This one is lovely! The knotted string is exactly like some of the small bladder wrack we see washed up.

  3. margaret johnson says:

Oh my goodness. sooo beautiful Mo. Your work is pure magic. I just love the sea glass, I used to collect it when I was a little girl. I thought it was precious. I had diff coloued glasses, green, white and brown. But my favourite was green. Can it still be found these days? Gorgeous. oxox

    • Mo Crow says:

there’s always some beaches where the sea glass congregates am not sure why that is, the rarest sea glass is dark blue from those old medicine bottles…!

going back to my roots with this one when I made pin money with feather & shell earrings back in the 70’s. Popped into the gallery yesterday arvo & Madeleine is very interested, will get some made in between the crow drawings before the end of the year, it’s exciting!

The cool glassy green, the hard shininess of shells and the rough tactile cordage…what satisfying juxtapositions. Really nice Mo.
