For so many people, everyone, I suspect, drawing and writing take us from confusion to understanding.
I hope so but a lot of people don’t write or draw these days, typing on a keyboard or texting on a phone is not the same as holding a pen to paper
love seeing your drawings. not everyone has that talent.
have been drawing the world and how it feels ever since I was a shy kid in kindergarten finding solace in the paper and crayons whilst everyone else was learning how to tie their shoes
It’s the pen line, the refinement of it that astounds me. What a lot of control you’ve developed over the decades…’the feather left behind’ is such an evocative touch…and how glad I am that your old man survived…maybe we would never have met you…fate follows our steps to be sure we take the right roads. You two are both survivors.
It’s a wild story and a very good song, x fingers we’ll hear it soon! and re the fine lines, the Saunders Waterford 425 gsm H/P waercolour paper is a fabulous surface & the 0.1 Copic Microliner felt pen with replaceable nib and ink is proving to be a good tool. Just as well, seems the 0.25 Rotring drafting pen may be going the way of the Dodo, have had one on order for 2 months.
Breathtaking, Mo! Every last detail is perfect.
it’s getting there x fingers I can keep those good bones visible!
This drawing has so much to say…it’s fine , rich .yet delicate beauty and the mystery of it’s meaning….as it reveals itself, I can only say that most importantly, OMC has survived whatever ordeal happened upon you and gratefullness for that!! Secondly, your enormous talent gives honor to it.
thanks for the good words Karen, it will be finished in a few hours, right now it’s 3:33am (Ha!) just drinking my first cup of coffee and x fingers the guitar will go in for the recording today!
Very special drawing !
