Love it Mo!!!!Love the use of the black (leather?) cord. And all of the magical ingredients. Delicious!!
the shoulder strap is 2 lengths of black leather cord, black silk cord in the middle, many metres of black linen thread with lots of hours of stitching & knotting!
Ahh Mo, you never cease to to amaze and delight with your exquisite creations!!! Just love the way you have made the shoulder strap. We were very distraught when a kooka- burra snatched our beautiful golden carps. They were so friendly and used to love being stroked on the belly. They also used to dive through the water jet over rocks. We had them for many years. Just LOVE your work. ox
Oh those naughty kookaburras! a friend’s cat used to do that to the neighbour’s goldfish, he would catch each fish and then lay it on the rock at the side of the pond as a “gift” for the owner!
this memory keeper just made itself when that Fish cloth arrived from Dee, I love the strap too but work so slowly, you know those girls who do the intricate hair wraps with all the different coloured threads at the markets in 40 minutes… they have very nimble fingers!
awesome ! this is so cool… i am in the process of using my crows eye & feather on a head band for a sugar skull .
Your crow eye and feather fit so perfectly with Dee’s fish cloth, look forward to seeing the next sugar skull Kathy!
Just beautiful, Mo, every last detail is perfect. The strap is amazing!
Thanks for the good words Carol!
Beautiful, the strap and detailing is exquisite.
thanks for the good words Debbie, there is a lot of potential in the strap it’s a combination of macrame and lace techniques
You weave magic with your memory keepers, Mo. Stitched with intention and love they reflect this back so strongly. Love.
thanks for the good words Beth, the memory keepers sort of make themselves and these last two have come out so fast… but it’s time to put the needle & thread away & get back to the crow drawings!
The intricacy and detail of your work is so inspiring! I love the passing of the ghost fish into another realm.
Hi Dana, thanks for the good words I keep wondering if the ghost fish needs a mouth and or teeth…
