There is something compelling me to stay and look, and look and see all the small bits of this work. It is quite wonderfully designed and drawn….and it draws me deeply into the composition. Thanks for posting this piece through your process of creating..Bronwyn’s comments are spot on

OHHH! This is where Obsession meets Orkiszewski; and what a match it is!
It fully gets Rod being as one with his guitar; I can hear him plucking those strings and am listening! Yep, you did it again girlfriend!

  8. stitchingweaver says:

Today the beach was filled with little blue bottles. I wouldn’t know what they were if I hadn’t seen them on your blog. Thanks Love your crow. Sent from my iPad

Your illustration is stunning and so is your work in cloth. Inspiring….

  10. Wow, what an awesome drawing! In those times Long gone…it would have been an amazing LP cover. Nice and big and pleasing to the eye!

thanks Eva! the eventual book & CD set will be the size of a 12″ LP, the drawings are on big sheets of Saunders Waterford 425 gsm H/P water-colour paper and will all be scanned and then reduced in Photoshop with the text of each song placed on the double page spreads, the 4 CDs will be in little pockets with buttons and string inside the back cover, am planning the cover to be a black leather look card with the logo in raised relief.

  11. I’m always amazed at how much personality and expression you’re able to give the crows, and this is a perfect example. Great work, Mo!
