just finished making our 150 xmas cards!

Here’s some photos of the card making in processxmas2013week1 Rod took the photo a few months back after reading The Sound of a Wild Snail Eating raised our awareness of snails as sentient beings with very curious lives!
xmascardinprocess2013Stonehenge watercolour paper is folded & ripped to size with all the edges hand deckled, then the text and photos are glued in with Pritt archival glue stick
xmasgilding2013highlights are added with Jo Sonja rich gold matte fluid acrylic paint & a Winsor & Newton series 7 “ooo” brush
xmascardfinale2013& here they are all ready to be written and sent off to celebrate another year of fun and wonder

    Oh, the cards! After a lifetime of sending out 80+ handmade cards I seem to have lost the plot. This year I’m not sure what will happen. Maybe no cards at all – how dreadful! You and Rod have produced a winner!
