Magnolia and jasmine 20133-Spring is in the air!
The Magnolias are in full flight & the air is full of the intoxicating scent of jasmine here in the Land Down Under

  1. Patricia says:

i once bought a house because it had a huge magnolia tree in the front yard, just a few feet away from the bedroom. nothing like that fragrance.

    • Mo Crow says:

they are the most beautiful trees the bare stark grey of the branches in contrast with the over the top lushness of the petals and that scent… that subtle wild scent… I love this time of the year!

  2. deanna7trees says:

love the smell of jasmine. i have a jasmine plant right outside my front door…lots of beautiful green leaves but so far only one real flower. it starts to look like it will flower but never does. any advice? it gets good light but not really direct sunlight.

  3. dinahmow says:

    Mmmmm….breathing deeply….

  4. Oooh. The cockatoos have destroyed three magnolias here, so I have given up. I love yours though.
And, here in Canberra, it will be a while before the magnolias or the jasmine come to glory.

    • Mo Crow says:

The possums eat a lot of the magnolia flowers here in Sydney particularly in gardens close to the bush & aren’t your cockatoos naughty, gotta love them though!

  5. Carol says:

What a colour feast! We have too much shade for that jasmine but now I need to buy a magnolia.
