This piece is so atmospheric and a bit threatening, not sure thats the right word, love the frayed look on the largest flying bird.
the frayed one works ’cause it was just a bit of cloth that sudddenly looked like a crow & I just quickly stitched it into place… the drawn one looks a bit too contrived to me this morning…
Very strong for such delicate material, quite wonderful. Love the crow crone thought, and (of course) want to see more of your crows as they magically appear.
well, you have a better feeling about ‘crow’ than I do, but I don’t find the drawn one contrived at all — rather, loose, strong, suggestive without overdoing detail
