a xroads cloth just flew in by Grace Forrest Maestras of Windthread with a butterfly from one of our gardens
Grace is making these beautiful altar cloths and sending them out into the world to help sustain her herd of tiny Nigerian Dwarf goats in New Mexico
It’s a magical centreing device honouring the space at the xroads, here you can see a tiny Sebright bantam hen feather and a damselfly wing in the centre surrounded by some of the lace and feathers gifted to me by Margaret Johnson, Eliene Saint Romain, and many other friends from all around the world this year
the feathers and lace are calling
but right now it’s time to get back to the drawing board & Looking for You

Magical Grace, you Feathers, lace. song. and lines meeting here at the crossroads where every X marks the sacred spot!.
The altar cloth is beautiful and it is really wonderful to see your various shots of your lace and feathers. Just gorgeous, Mo!
Enjoyed seeing (besides Grace’s soulful piece) your lace and feathers, and gauzy piece. You such amazing feathers–no wonder they inspire you. wonders of nature.
Great post MO. From Grace’s lovely piece right through to your latest sketch. Is that a silk gauze hanging behind the black knotted piece? They look beautiful together. You sure are an inspiration. ox
