Mo1977aMo1977bMo1977cMo1977da set of old photos from Falls Creek 1977 courtesy of Jeffrey Witt
these photos took me for a spin back in time
and although I look so young a couple of lifetimes had been lived intensely already…
as Anne Dybka the wonderful glass engraver wisely said “we get many lives in this one lifetime”

i would have known you without the naming. yes. many lives in one lifetime–yet some thing weaves through them all

thanks for visiting Patricia I’ve been wrangling with the old memories ever since these photos arrived in my inbox yesterday and feel OK it’s been a wild ride from there to here but looking back I wouldn’t change a thing… oh except I could have been a lot kinder….

Sometimes, stuff drifts by like so much flotsam…best left to drift on. And sometimes it’s just junk;maybe even harmful junk…let that go by,too. But then…you see a line in that stream and ,without knowing why, your hand grabs it and you feel the heft of time, see the glitter of laughter…haul that line and make it fast!

love these. the longer i live , the more i value the images of time. when younger i did not realise exactly what ‘this to shall pass ‘ really meant…both the good stuff and the not so good. but pass it does. images such as these allows a return visit , it taps into time, place, experience, a little portal to all of everything you are .. beautiful mo

I was never so fit as when I worked that season as a house maid & waitress in the snow fields, cross country skiing every day & couldn’t smoke at that altitude!

  6. Carol says:

You were beautiful, Mo, and still are. Gosh, isn’t it a long time ago! Yes, several lives in this one. I guess that means we are lucky. Or maybe the lucky ones… Much to be thankful for.

  7. Carol says:

Absolutely lovely pictures. An absolutely beautiful lady…..

  8. Nancy says:

Great photos. You DO look so young and alive! And I love the dimple 🙂 I am a sucker for dimples, maybe because my mom made a big deal over mine and so I felt so special. I chuckled when I realized how familiar those magnetic photo book pages look 🙂

  9. Nancy says:

Just looked here again…I like many parts of now, but what I wouldn’t give for bits of then too!
