    soulful heart real

that’s the thing about music, isn’t it? it goes so so far beyond words.

Thank you for share of Balance video (amazing!!) and your supportive words…

by a weird coincidence, your comment came swooshing in on my phone just an hour before I was supposed to be up to take my son to airport (4:07 a.m.), but I hadn’t set clocks forward (I thought I had all of Sunday to do that), so then in swooshes Michelle’s comment to my blog ( you are BOTH night owls!!), and she goes to Balancing Act video and shares (find out later), then my husband calls from China to say (after I didn’t respond to HIS swooshing text), “Are you up? did you set clocks forward?” And then, there’s me dashing to son’s room telling him to ‘get up get up’ while the connection still live with China. “It’s 5:07, not 4:07” and we won’t be late, but we will if we hesitate even a moment, we could be. But then (and here’s the part I want to share with you — ) I was brushing my teeth, sitting on an upholstered stool I keep in bathroom, and thought I was clicking to your Balancing Act link, but instead found myself here. And oh! I tipped phone on windowsill, (which was eye level) and while quietly, maybe even reverently, brushing my teeth, watched and listened to this song. It was pure magic, and outside of time, even though the entire surrounding moments were about almost nothing BUT time. Amazing.

(and PS in my new-attempts to read & respond to comments on my phone, I deleted yours, as well as mine to you, back…. )
