That scarf has me oooouuuing!
I am really enjoying the stitching along with Jude Hill’s group of inspiring cloth conjurors. I had given up embroidery back in the early 80’s when i started working in glass & feels like a homecoming + it’s a good way to get the hands & eyes coordinated working each day before settling into the crow drawings. You may start doing a little stitching soon too?
Your window dressing looks great. The fringe on your scarf is awesome. Did you make the fringe yourself. Beautiful stitching. ox
Hi Margaret the fringe is my first attempt at making fishnetted lace just using overhand knots with the Silkworm thread you sent. It has such a lovely weight and integrity and is so soft on the hands, how is your next prayer flag coming along, have been thinking about you all day!
Yes, have started it, good to be making again! Marg ox
looking forward to seeing each one evolve, this feels like a good strong magic year for everyone!
Just LUV how the fire tree scarf is turning out–brilliant fringe idea.
best, nadia
enjoying the learning & seeing where it wants to go next
