hope-for-Chrishere’s another thing with feathers flying out in the post this morning for an old friend who is doing it tough

  1. patricia says:

love it–and the shadows. hmmmmmm. delicious

    • Mo Crow says:

I just wrapped the thing with feathers in cotton wool for the journey which is what I would love to be able to do for my old friend… he was such a beautiful boy who could sing like an angel but the last 20 years have been way too hard … the world is not a fair place… all we can do is try to hold each other & help when we can and let each other be when we can’t

      • Valerianna says:

Mine is sitting on my small shelf in the studio, overseeing the drawing of owls and making the faintest whispering chants, just inside my realm of hearing… is it emus I’m hearing or are there tiny Tibetans rolled up inside?

Hope your friend feels lighter with the addition of sprials and feathers….

        • Mo Crow says:

inside the scroll is the first verse of Hope by Emily Dickinson
“Hope is the thing with feathers
          That perches in the soul
And sings the tune without the words
          And never stops at all”

making each thing with feathers adds just a little bit more hope in the world… x fingers!
