  1. Gorgeous, I love the claws through the page, like sharpened pencil points. Hope Old Man Crow is happy. What will be on the next page?

    • Mo Crow says:

Old Man Crow is going to fiddle with the text today and see if he can lay it into the page better just for the fun of it as all 40 images will be tweaked & have a dash of red added in 2015, then they will be scanned and the text and layout will be sorted which will take about a year hope to have it all finished by 2016 & what’s on the next page? “Opportunity” the song that was written after a magic 24 hours in New Orleans back in 1999, it’s already cooking!

  2. Valerianna says:

At first I didn’t see the second bird… haunting!

    • Mo Crow says:

The song was written the same night Old Man Crow’s amp nearly electrocuted him… it is a haunting number, hope to have the recording online soon.

  3. SO MANY CAREFUL STROKES…A wonderful piece of work Mo. Old man Crow must be mighty pleased. What a ong and patient art this is.

    • Mo Crow says:

thanks for the good words Michele, funny how I wanted to illustrate Old Man Crow’s songs ever since I first heard “Life of Crime” in a bar back in 1977 but never got’round to it ’til now!

another fabulous illustration. love watching your progress through these pages.

    • Mo Crow says:

thanks for the good words Deanna am deep in the process with these drawings but the stitching at night inspired by your meditative stitching helps to settle the soul, have no idea what is going to happen to the cheesecloth when I wash out the soluble paper on the hope hankie, x fingers it doesn’t just all fall apart or turn into a sticky mess!
